This weekend I just couldn’t face working on the updated Form Tools documentation and took a break instead. There’s only a dozen or so tutorials left to do, but yeesh. Seriously brainfried, here.
Instead, I created a simple Polymer custom element called <char-counter />. It, well, adds a character counter to your form fields. Super simple. It’s available on Bower or via github.
Check out the demo site here. That contains a link to the source code on github.
Hi,
I just started using Form Tools, thanks a lot for all the work. There are some questions I can’t find answers to and I’d like to post in the forums, but the user registration is closed. Will that open at some time in the future?
Regards,
Björn
Hi Björn, I’m so sorry the forums were closed! I reached the end of my tether with the forum spam so I shut it down until I figured out what I could do.
I’ve temporarily re-enabled it, so go ahead and register. I think I’m going to have to port the entire forum over to a different more spam-proof script.
